We have worked with Enbridge for many of their projects. While working on an Enbridge project with Chemco, we discovered a discrepancy in the drawings that caused the pump and motor to not align. This resulted in a concrete base being 3” to high. We caught the issue while there were still many pump stations to be built, so they were able to save a substantial amount of money by correcting this issue before concrete was poured. Our goal is to help move our clients’ projects forward while ensuring that everything works correctly.

 While commissioning large hydrogen compressors, our team was able to find and remedy an alignment issue. We were able to find the issues and resolve an anchor bolt installation problem by installing a flexible elastomer. By discovering this issue, our team saved Air Products a substantial amount of money and lost production time.

While working for Dematic, we were able to resolve various equipment installation and commissioning issues. We worked as an agent for Dematic to service areas of Western Canada and to bolster their own service and maintenance system. We were able to provide the proper tools and knowledge to perform all the manufactured authorized work.

While working with Inter Pipe Ltd., we installed dozens of pumps, mainline pumps with motors in the 2000-3000 Hp range. We were able to install these pumps without the need for any field machining through using a proper installation technique and procedures, and ensuring that our workmanship was precise.

We have provided Keyera with many years of regular maintenance and turn around services. We have had regular maintenance personnel at Keyera helping them to adjust and manage their workforce without the major cost of hiring full time employees. Our maintenance personnel have worked so well for Keyera that when Keyera went to hire full time millwright personnel, they chose to hire Pic employees. Most of the Keyera millwright maintenance staff originally worked for Pic Industrial.

While working for Dematic, we were able to resolve various equipment installation and commissioning issues. We worked as an agent for Dematic so that they did not need to send in technicians from Ontario. We were able to provide the proper tools and knowledge to perform all the manufactured authorized work

We worked with Celanese to remove and replace the extruder rotor at one of their facilities. Extruder Rotors are a highly precise piece of equipment with extremely close tolerances. We had to manufacture a specialized adapter to allow for a hydraulic ram to be installed to allow the rotor to be removed.
